We ❤️ STEAM+

Jogathon is almost here...

Why support both?
  • Alongside DMSEF's fall giving campaign, Jogathon is the foundation's major fundraiser. DMSEF funds 40% of the salaries for STEAM+ teachers for all DMUSD schools
  • Through our annual giving campaign and gala, the DMH PTA funds resources, materials, and equipment for all teachers on our campus, in addition to school programs and events.
Where are we?

As of Friday, we've raised $114k of our $125k school goal toward fully funding our district's STEAM+ program

In other words, we're 91% of the way to celebrating Valentine's Day 80s style -- complete with a karaoke performance from Principal Daniel!

What happens Tuesday?
  • Have your kiddos wear class colors: purple (K), blue (1st), green (2nd), yellow (3rd), orange (4th), red (5th), black (6th).
  • Head over to campus at 1:00pm to cheer on our joggers through pickup at 2:30.

...And let's hope the sun comes out for us this year 😝

Last Friday's Garden Club made freshlemonade and orzo tabbouleh.

Both were big hits! 👨‍🍳

Want to try the tabbouleh at home? Check out the recipe here.

Contrats to our Science Olympiad teams!

Our two Heights teams, A9 (7 members) and A10 (9 members) placed 14th and 10th, respectively, among the 27 teams participating in Saturday's regional competition at Miramar College.

Huge thanks to Sandip Patel for organizing this new club on campus, and to all of the parent volunteers for supporting our student scientists!
