🪓 Garden Update & Recipes 🪓

Garden Club had a great Friday meeting! We added compost to beds, harvested basil, made (and enjoyed) pesto, and washed our lime tree. We also tasted the tomatoes and peppers we harvested last week in a yummy relish. Try out our recipes at home!

DMUSD Oversight Committee

The Del Mar Union School District is seeking a volunteer from the community to serve on its Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee (COC). The COC provides oversight of the $186 million bond program, ensuring bond proceeds are used to support school modernization and construction projects as authorized by Measure MM, passed by local voters in November 2018.

The District is currently seeking one At-Large Community MemberĀ to fill a vacancy on the COC. Applications are now available and are due October 3, 2025.Ā

This is a great opportunity to serve our district as the COC is tasked with an important job but requires a limited time commitment!
